GEA EDU – IDEAS FOR THE FUTURE

A three-year educational course of 40 hours per year on the circular economy and sustainability, aimed at male and female secondary school students of all types, located throughout Italy. Inspired by the UN 2030 agenda (goals 11, 12, 13), this project is part of the Civic Education teaching pathway. ‘VIVA LA COSTITUZIONE, LA COSTITUZIONE È VIVA!’

A three-year educational project in which the mascot Martino accompanies boys and girls from Italian primary schools to discover the democratic values defended by the Constitution and applied by national and international institutions. Exploring the themes of active citizenship and the Constitution, the project is part of the educational proposals aimed at the study of Civic Education.

EVENTS

The Foundation participates in the organisation of events on the main issues concerning Italian and European policies, involving representatives of the institutions and bring them together with experts on the economy, leading figures in the academic world and the third sector, in order to seek answers and encourage dialogue and confrontation.

30 May - Energy for Italy and the EU: the sources and rules of the energy market

The debate will focus on finding the ideal mix of renewable, hydrogen, and new generation nuclear energies. An attempt will be made to chart the course to reduce the use of fossil fuels until their complete abandonment. How to structure the energy market to be able to protect consumers and meet the needs of energy-intensive production companies will be discussed.

22 June - Sustainable, digital and open: national and European finance in line with the Green Deal

The green transition, an in-depth look at the Italian and European initiatives designed to give the green revolution a decisive push, by stimulating the financial sector to support the investments needed to achieve the goals of the Green Deal.

12 October - Italian and European transport and the challenge of 2035

Focus on transport and mobility infrastructure. The discussion will focus on the role of electricity and hydrogen for powering vehicles, and the progress in investments planned in the NRRP for this sector.

6 December - How can we govern Europe? New and old challenges for the new look EU

Tenth edition of the most important Italian event dedicated to European affairs, which over the years has involved leading figures from national and EU institutions such as the late President of the European Parliament David Sassoli, Commissioners Moscovici and Kyriakides, Ministers Padoan, Boccia, Salvini, Tajani, Fitto to name but a few.
